Whether you like a leisurely afternoon stroll, kicking a football with the kids or picnics in the park, Ropes Crossing has space for the whole family to enjoy. More than 20% of the community will be dedicated to parks, open space, nature reserves and wetlands. At the same time, a 25km network of hike and bike trails will provide easy access to all the major parks, schools and shopping facilities while also linking to the bicycle network throughout Western Sydney.

Work is well underway on the Ropes Crossing’s parks and open space program, with the completion of the community’s first major park, called Aurora Parklands. The parklands includes a play space for the kids, an open grassed area, shade from the sun and barbecue facilities for the whole family to enjoy.
